Note: IMPORTANT: *Do not count on your order arriving before the holidays.* Postal services around the world continue to report delays due to high volumes and Covid-related limits on capacity. Delivery times are long - as long as 4 weeks or more. Please contact us if you have any questions. Any orders with So, You've Been Eaten. items are considered pre-orders, and will be shipped in when those respective campaigns are fulfilled. Please note that your card will not be charged until the order is ready to be shipped, which in the case of pre-orders may be several weeks or months after you have made it. Orders are shipped weekly from our warehouses in the USA, Germany, the UK or China. Most small items are shipped separately, priority mail without tracking, from our HQ in Finland, so your order may come in multiple packages. UK: Please note that all or part of your order may come from outside the UK, and you may need to pay customs fees. If in doubt, please contact us. Latest Updates from Our Project:

So, Here's An Update on Fulfillment
about 2 months ago – Thu, Sep 02, 2021 at 11:16:05 PM

Greetings, LudiCrats!

This is part 2 of the update on production & fulfillment. We broke this into two separate backer updates to make sure that we can easily refer to them in the future, and because we find that some backers tend to skip parts of updates that they then later ask about. Also, this pads our backer update count, which we can all agree is the mark of a quality KS project.

TL,DR

Containers might as well be made of caviar-infused, PS5-lined, platinum-coated, RX6880-shaped lego bricks.

Spare a container ship, brother?

Common Container Conundrums

So, it looks like production is going to be ok. However, we are having to deal with a problem of which you might have heard from one or more friendly local Kickstarter campaigns you may be backing.

The problem is one of capacity. The worldwide freight market has been completely and utterly fudged up beyond recollection of anyone with experience of shipping cardboard inside containers.

A huge increase in demand for consumer goods during the pandemic has led to several bottlenecks in freight operations. There are not enough containers, and there are not enough containers *in the right place*. Too many things going both eastwards and westwards from China, not enough things going back.

As a result the freight costs, and more pertinently, *our* freight costs have increased more than 600% (and counting). This is now, at this moment, and it could even go higher as we approach the holiday season.

Of course, this is not your fault. To be absolutely clear:

No backers will be asked to put in more money to receive their rewards.

While we understand publishers who have no other choice, we would rather go bankrupt than do that. We're already resigned to losing out on VAT we did not collect, so this is just another five-digit lump to take.

We have been thinking and researching this for a few months now. We got quotes, re-quotes, re-re-quotes, talked to other publishers (to potentially share containers). We considered (and still sort of are considering) the possibility of buying our own container in case that helps. The main issue is one of time. As you can see in the sources listed at the end of this update, no matter how much we pay for the freight, it may still take an unprecedented amount of time for it to cross the seas to get to you, get unloaded, cleared through customs and then brought to the regional fulfillment center warehouses.

So, please know that we are working on gaining as much information as possible before we have to make a decision on this. We will consider all factors and we will try to compensate for potential disruptions. However, please understand that this is the one part of the process over which we have the least control. And given that it can not be solved with money - because we do not want to ask for more, and what more we pay will not have an effect on the time it takes to happen - it could be that it may only be solved with time.

That would mean that you would need to exhibit some restraint in calling for your game to be delivered, and be patient with us and our freight/fulfillment partners as we get the game to you.

If, for whatever reason, you feel like you are not prepared to do that, please contact us via Kickstarter message.

Unfortunately, we can not give any time estimates about what this means for fulfilling the rewards. The level of uncertainty we are presented with is unprecedented, and any estimate we might give is very likely to be wrong. In addition, we have found that giving estimates leads some to take them as certainties, commitments, or promises, leading to disappointment and other negative emotional responses.

As noted not 3 sentences before, if this uncertainty is not acceptable to you, we fully understand and would like to know, so we can figure out how to prevent disappointment - just send us a message.

As soon as we have more information on timing, we will let you know. Until then, please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you have any concerns.

Next steps

As mentioned in the previous update posted right before this one, we are just about to press the big “print” button. Ideally, the next backer update will have photos of the beautiful game that we expect So, You’ve Been Eaten. to become when it is in printed form.

Before you ask about dates and timelines and all that, please read that update and take into account the contents of this one, in which we have done our best to outline the challenges that we (along with a few dozen other publishers) face in moving cardboard closer to you.

In keeping with our standard practice, we will make a backer update *after* something has happened, to avoid making promises that are not kept - ultimately leading to disappointment and frustration. Along the same lines, and for the same reason, we do not give estimated, expected or “certain” dates of when something could, might or should happen. It’s just easier to update based on actual occurrences.

We thank you for your patience, understanding and support throughout this campaign, and believe you us, we want the game to hit the table as soon as humanly (or beastily?) possible.

Greetings, LudiCrats!

TL,DR

Production is proceeding at the expected pace. Read on for more details!

The Crystals, Beast Die and Triple-layered boards sections are all about the Collector edition. The mini-expansion rules, Crohn's & Colitis Foundation donation and DE-language pack sections apply to all who have those items coming.

Crystals

First, a bit about the Crystals. We've been going through several rounds of revisions to make sure that we are happy with the tokens. The main issue is that we need to keep a variety of colors (that do not get confused with Bacteria and other colors in the game) while still maintaining good visibility when the Crystals are both on and off the board.

Luckily, the shape of each Crystal is unique, and we have in fact asked the factory to make the cuts ever more detailed. We are happy now with the shapes, and feel like they are different enough to be distinguishable, even if they were in black & white. The goal now is to tweak the contrast and transparency enough so that we are 100% happy with what is achievable. This shows the progression of the Crystals so far, and how they look right now, in their 4th iteration:

We still need some improvements done on the lighter-colored Crystals (to maximize visibility against dark backgrounds), and as soon as they are done, manufacturing will start.

Beast die

We have the final form of the beastliest (and most detailed) of dies that we have ever had made. We are so very proud of how it looks, and it feels great to cast too!

What we wanted to achieve here was a tactile experience when playing with it, one that befits the Collector edition. It took a few tries to get the cuts detailed enough, while still keeping the numbers readable and the overall design not looking too busy.

Here are some closeup photos, along with a comparison to the die standing in for this one in the prototypes:

The lighting in the photos might make it look dark, but trust us, it looks every bit as bright as in the video embedded above.

Triple-layered boards

Wow, this was a doozy. We did not expect this to take up so much of our energy and brainpower, such as it might be, but it did!

The prototypes shown on the preview videos did have some rough edges, but we were confident that the production boards, what with their fully-coated prints and proper machine-cut parts would be a-ok. However, there were some concerns that there would be some visible fraying in the edges, and that the cards would not slide as well with a puzzle cut.

So, we took another look.

First, we considered vertically inserted wooden (or even - gasp - plastic) pegs that would go through the boards and keep them anchored to each other. The schematics for this did not impress, and it required assembly before playing.

Then, we considered straight edges with side-pinching cardboard (or even - gasp the 2nd - plastic) or metal - yes, metal clasps (think money clips or flat plastic paper clips). That would not work to keep everything nice and flat.

We even considered the crazy option of using pairs of magnets. We went as far as developing plans to encase them within the boards, complete with polarity planned so that the different segments would only fit one way (cuts 1 and 3), with the middle segment (cut 2) being able to fit whichever way, to allow for any human/AI Miner/Beast combo. Needless to say the magnet option, meme-able as it would be (think Jesse Pinkman - warning, strong language, Breaking Bad spoilers), it was too damn expensive, likely prone to failure, and tough to fix/replace if we needed to.

So, we went back to making the puzzle cut as good as possible, and thought again on the whole thing. We asked the factory for samples of different thicknesses, and we are pleased to inform you that the boards will now have a total thickness of 2.9 mm (0.8+1.3+0.8 mm) - any thicker and the layers of pressed paper inside the cardboard would unravel. This will give the puzzle nubs plenty of robust surface and keep them going for many, many play cycles.

In addition, we decided to once and for all solve the sliding-cards-up-and-down-the-tract potential issue with a simple solution: Re-surface the damn thing. So now there is a brand new component in the Collector edition - the digestive tract overlay sheet:

Note that this is a .gif file (and that’s a hard G you heathens), so it may take a bit of time to load because parts of the KS website are from 1998. Click here to see it if the embed does not work.

This sheet fits exactly inside the digestive tract, and its cardstock is thin enough to not reduce the depth effect of the trench. It will provide for a unified surface upon which you will be able to slide cards without them "catching" on the puzzle cut pieces.

Finally, we decided to have it be printed double-sided, with the reverse side having 8 Stomach card slots, so that if the Immune Response that dictates an 8th card comes up in the solo game, you are ready for it. The track works fine as it is for an 8th card (the cards are just closer together), but this will give a nice cosmetic upgrade for those games.

Mini-expansion rules

Good news: Both the Dyspepto-Beastmol mini-expansion and the Confused Immune System mini-expansion will have printed rules coming with them. Here are their final texts in PDF form:

So, You've Been Eaten. : Dyspepto-Beastmol - EN rules

So, You've Been Eaten. : Confused Immune System - EN rules

If you are confused about whether something is included or not in your pledge, please check this image. To modify your pledge please use the links to Backerkit provided at the top and bottom of this update.

Crohn's & Colitis Foundation donation

Better news: Speaking of the Confused Immune System, we can now tell you that your purchases of the Confused Immune System mini-expansion will, at the moment of writing this update, result in $20,620 to be donated to the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation.

DE adaptability pack

Beste Nëws: The translation of the rulebook for the German adaptability pack is complete.

Please note that there is still some work to be done, mainly in layout out those long german words better and figuring out where to hyphenate them. Also, some images need localizing. Check it out here:

So, You've Been Eaten. - DE rules

As a reference, here are the rules in English:

So, You've Been Eaten. - EN rules

If you find any mistakes, please use this form to submit them:

https://goo.gl/forms/jTFX4bDRvO7cuejD2

Also, we are happy to announce to our fans in the D-A-CH that we will also be printing german-language versions of the mini-expansion rules and including them in the pack - if that does not blow the roof over your heads, we don't know what will. These will be posted in PDF form at a later time.

Next steps

As mentioned in the Crystals section above, we are just about to press the big “print” button. Ideally, the next backer update will have photos of the beautiful game that we expect So, You’ve Been Eaten. to become when it is in printed form.

So, You've Been Sent a Last Call Email from Backerkit. Don't Panic.
5 months ago – Tue, Jun 08, 2021 at 12:28:25 AM

Greetings, LudiCrats

It appears that a number of you have been sent a "Last Call" email from Backerkit. Do not worry about it. Your carts will be briefly locked on Wednesday, and promptly unlocked. This happened due to a misclick.

No cards will be charged until September-October.

A proper backer update will precede any such event.

If you would like to review your cart to upgrade your pledge or add-on more games, please click here:

https://so-youve-been-eaten.backerkit.com

If you have any questions, please contact us via the KS messaging system.

Production

The production process is advancing:

- We have just received the latest samples of the Collector Edition boards, in three thicknesses.

- The thickness of the acrylic Upgrade tokens has been reduced to improve visibility.

- A new way to avoid any card sliding issues for the Collector Edition has been developed. More news, with photos, will follow once we have a prototype.

- We are expecting more samples for the acrylic Crystal tokens and new "beastly" Beast die design.

More information will come as it develops!

Best,

LC

So, You've Been Sent a Backerkit Survey.
5 months ago – Wed, May 12, 2021 at 02:51:31 AM

Greetings, LudiCrats!

IMPORTANT: As you will read below, about 5% of backers will receive their survey in the first few minutes/hours after this update goes live. The rest will get theirs sent 24 hours after that. This is the so called "smoke test" that functions as a dry run, in case anything in the survey needs to be fixed.

Please read this entire backer update before contacting us with any questions or concerns. You can contact us by using the link at the end of the text.

Confused Immune System

Before we go on to talk about Backerkit, we would like to first reveal the special little thing we hinted at in our previous update. As some, but not all, of you may know, Scott created So, You've Been Eaten. as a way to deal with his ongoing Crohn's Disease. Besides our admiration for his design work that we have witnessed since we have started working with him (and our puzzlement at picking us for publishing this game), he has also earned our respect for making such a fun a game out of something so serious and personal.

As a result, this has led us to want to do our best to contribute to this, which is why we asked Scott to create something we can use to raise money that can help fight Crohn's Disease. Ever willing to do more work apparently, Scott created this, the Confused Immune System.

The Confused Immune System is a small mini-expansion, similar in size to Dyspepto-Beastmol. It emulates how an immune system, while necessary to one's health, can overreact and become a burden. For more details on gameplay, please check out the rules document.

We intend to donate the proceeds from this mini-expansion (less $1 to cover manufacturing and processing costs) to the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation. Scott has given his game design, and we the art & graphic design to this effort, and we hope you will join us by adding it to your pledge via Backerkit.

To be clear, and to keep to Kickstarter rules about charitable giving (which is also why this is an add-on), *none of the KS campaign funds will go to this donation*. Also, we are planning to "round up" our donation, and donate a set amount (probably $4 of the $5 it costs on Backerkit) per Confused Immune System. In addition, we will "round up" the number of donations, and give the equivalent of the print run, rather than the exact number of backers that get this. E.g. if we have 4732 backers that add this, we will print 5000 copies, and donate 5000 * $4 = $20,000.

We expect to be able to post a receipt of the donation when we make it, sometime this year.  We realize this is a very US-centric approach, and Crohn's disease affects millions around the world, but this way of contributing is the easiest, most efficient and most transparent for us.

We also realize that there are many worthy causes to support and urgent issues to resolve in the world today. We would prefer not to debate the merit of contributing to the resolution of one versus any other problem, as that tends to minimize and marginalize very important and valid concerns that each one of us has. As LudiCreations, together with Scott, we have chosen to do this, now, and we hope you will join us, while also encouraging you to take initiative about the causes you care about.

Printed rulebooks for mini-expansions

One more thing before we go on to talk about the survey!

The Dyspepto-Beastmol and the Confused Immune System will both have printed rulebooks. They will be bundled together with the cardboard in shrinkwrap or a small bag.

German-language pack

As mentioned in the FAQs, speakers of the language of Goethe and The Hoff will be able to add on the german cards and rulebooks in Backerkit.

The rulebook will also be provided in PDF, and you will be able to preview it before it goes to print.

Backerkit

In this part of the update there are some very important notes about the backer survey with which we collect information about your address and your selected add-ons.

First we will talk about the email invitation and the process by which you complete the survey, and then we will talk about your address format, fulfillment schedules, and more! Please read this very important update to the very end.

We have initiated the Backerkit survey invitation emails. These emails come to the email address you use with Kickstarter. If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account.

At first, 5% of you will receive the link to the survey. This is the smoke test, and we will use the information submitted in the next 24 hours to make sure nothing was missed. Following that, 24 hours or so later, Backerkit will send the rest of the emails.

If your invitation email has not arrived by Wednesday, 12 May 2021, 48 hours after this update, please check your spam folder and if it is not there, let us know with a KS message by clicking here.

You do not need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like.

After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts.

If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://so-youve-been-eaten.backerkit.com/ *after this Wednesday*.

Now, on to some more specific issues!

Backerkit - Schedule / Timing

NOTE: Your card will not be charged when you submit your survey.

The charging of credit cards is done after we lock down the survey, which will happen a few weeks before we are going to ship your rewards. This is projected to happen at the latter end of the year, in September-October.

You will be able to add or remove add-ons and chage your address until that time.

Backerkit - Shipping is weight-based (and subsidized)!

Our shipping methods make it very efficient to send boxes weighing 2 kg (4.4 lbs for those of you in the USA, Liberia or Myanmar).

This is equivalent to 1 big game (e.g. Crisis), but it is also equivalent to 4 small games! So, if you are planning to get any of our small games, chances are that you will find it most cost-effective when you get 4 of them.

Also, in case you were wondering, we do not charge you the full actual cost of shipping - we subsidize it.

Finally, some items that have free shipping as add-ons for backers do not have that as post-campaign pre-orders.

Backerkit - Please read the survey's intro question

It contains tips on completing the survey so that you can avoid issues later on.

For example, if you live in the UK, you do not need to give your county name. Same thing for Germany and your state.

IMPORTANT: Please check the format of your address.

Please complete the form with latin alphabet letters only, and do not use any non-standard characters (ä, ö, å, etc.), or commas (,) - if you do, and the package is lost, you will need to pay the full cost of a replacement. Simply replace them with their basic latin equivalents (e.g. ä -> a, å -> a and ø -> o).

The reason for this is that when the address data is entered to varying types of shipping software that different fulfillment providers use, these special characters often do not transfer, and the address is turned into gibberish.

NOTE: Even if you have entered your address as asked above, Backerkit may still suggest an address *with* those special characters added back in. Please ignore that and keep your entered address.

There's more in that intro question you need to know and agree to before we can ship the game to you.

Backerkit - Loyalty discount

As mentioned before, backers who pledged for the Collector edition during the campaign receive a discount of $1 per LudiCreations campaign backed in the past, to a maximum of $5 off.

Your credit has been applied and is going to be visible in your cart as part of the checkout process.

For more details on the discount and its terms, please check out the relevant FAQ item:

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ludicreations/so-youve-been-eaten/faqs

Backerkit - Upgrading your pledge level

You can upgrade your pledge level via the Backerkit survey. After you click the link in the invitation email and reach the first step in the Backerkit survey page, just click on the "or switch your pledge level>>" link under the green "Get Started" button.

Here is a handy guide from Backerkit itself:

https://help.backerkit.com/article/596-how-to-switch-into-another-pledge-level

Speaking of pledge levels, in the last few moments of the campaign, the pledge level table was updated to reflect the S.C.R.E.W.E.D. tiles being included, and so of course we screwed it up. Not to worry, here is the corrected one:

Questions?

If you have any issues with your pledge, if you have any questions about Backerkit, or you are a retailer seeking to make a pledge, please contact us via the KS messaging system.

Thank you for your patience in waiting to receive this update!

Best,

So, We've Been Known to Write Something Quirky Here When a Campaign is Done Funding.
7 months ago – Fri, Apr 02, 2021 at 05:42:34 PM

So, Let's Start With Something Different This Time.

So, we've been getting reviewed/previewed/playthroughed/kickstartercritiqued fairly often these days, and it's a bit of a new thing for us. We are not what you would call a massively popular publisher, but we do alright. We have our audience (greetings LudiCrats of yesteryear), backers who know and trust us, and now we are in a position to welcome many more of you into the tribe.

Anyway, we have now a lot of publicity. That sometimes comes from us reaching out to content creators, and sometimes they reach out to us.

While some have gone "pro" and do this full time (you can't eat cardboard), there are many out there that are not. When a "not-pro" reviewer asks us for a copy, we have to balance the number of copies (and the expense of sending it) with the exposure we expect to get, as may seem obvious.

A lot of times, at least so far, we have to say no - we do sometimes get the sense that someone with just an Instagram account and a good camera just wants a free game.

Some other times, we have to say no to people that clearly have a passion for games - and we hate doing that, but we must. And some other other times, we see a content creator without a huge audience, who clearly does not do this to promote themselves, who loves games and buys the ones they review, who is so charming that we have to just send them one.

So with all that said, we present for your consideration, someone that did not even ask for a free game: Harry of Gaming North of 60 (the name works on many levels):

(skip to 12:25 for SYBE, although you might as well give it all a view)

Harry did not ask us to mention him, and in fact has not had any prior contact with us whatsoever.

Let's give Harry a lot of views and comments to answer in the near-arctic frozen wasteland he inhabits (yeah, we might be showing a bit of bias here).

So, if you do not mind, go there and subscribe-bomb Harry's channel, will you?

Harry, we saw you backed SYBE. Thanks. You might be pleased to know that you are one of 5 Harrys and 1 Harry-Pekka. Also, surpriiiise! Don't change a thing, you are awesome.

Oh, and hey LudiCrats, the campaign is funded. Yay. Thank you. Really. So...

Greetings, LudiCrats!

We have a few things to talk about in this update, including a brand-new component we are adding to every box, a bit on the surveys, some new videos (don't miss the lively discussion in the Dice Tower one), and more!

But first, let's announce that everyone is...

S.C.R.E.W.E.D.

No, this does not necessarily describe you. Well, maybe your bank account.

It does, however, describe the new tiles we decided to add to the game. A while ago, a few people had suggested that in many cases, someone who loves So, You've Been Eaten. will teach the game to someone who has never heard of it (we recommend you give the Miner to the newbie).

When that happens, the experienced player, no matter their good intentions, will invariably digest/strip-mine the newbie. We wanted to do something about that, and make someone's first experience with a veteran player to be more... forgiving. So, with that said, we present to you the latest development in space-beast-mining-related-simulation, the space-patent-pending:

Skill Calibration Routine & Emergency Workload Enhancement Device

The Device consists of 5 double-sided tiles that a player can use (as either the Miner or the Beast) to give themselves a leg (or tentacle) up on the daily struggle of mine-or-be-mined that one so often finds themselves these days.

The tiles are Tools on the Miner side. If you are a Miner, you pick 1-3 random ones to start with. They work exactly like Tools on cards work (they take up a space, may only be used once, can be used any time in your turn), and can really make a difference at critical moments.

On their Beast side, they are Energy. As the Beast, you take 3-5 of them. You may spend up to 1 of them per turn, removing them from the game and giving you 1 extra Energy with which to buy Immune Response cards.

The S.C.R.E.W.E.D. tiles may be used in any game with a human player. They can make a Miner's work easier when dealing with a hibernating Beast, or they can help the Beast deal with the Robot Miner.

They have been added to every edition of the game. They will be in the tile punchboard of the Basic/Premium editions, and in the Dice Tower punchboard of the Collector edition. Their rules are in the Setup page of the rulebook, which has been updated and is linked from the campaign page.

Speaking of the campaign...

IMPORTANT: Errored Charges

A small number of you - usually around 4-5% - will have received a notification from Kickstarter that the payment for your pledge did not go through. There is also usually a high-visibility bar at the top of every Kickstarter page warning you about it.

Please make sure to fix your credit card info as soon as you can. If you do not do this within 7 days, you will be dropped as backers. If you are dropped, we can not help you, this is all handled by Kickstarter/Stripe. For more information, please check their FAQ:

Given the scale of the project, we can not make exceptions and re-add you as a backer. We can not take payment via PayPal, bank, check, money order, Crystals (except the orange ones, they're nice, Beast or Miner biological material, or smuggled Adjusters.

After the campaign has ended and the game is released, we can only take pre-orders via the pre-order store, and that will have higher shipping costs - now, 'bout that...

Pre-Order Store

The So, You've Been Eaten pre-order store is now live!

Please do *NOT* use it, unless you urgently need one of our other games that we can ship now (so, not Mr. Cabbagehead's Garden).

As backers, you have cheaper shipping rates for So, You've Been Eaten, and if you buy it again from the pre-order page, it will be a separate order and will cost more to ship.

However, please feel free to direct anyone else that wants the game. You may notice that we will not be selling the Basic or Premium editions there. We prefer to focus on the Collector edition, which has been by far the most popular edition on this campaign.

Current backers may still add Basic/Premium editions to their pledge via the upcoming Backerkit survey. Which nicely sets up the...

Backerkit Survey

The survey will be sent out in *about 2 weeks*. Could be 2 and a half. Could be 3. You get the idea, YMMV.

You will receive an email with an invitation link.

If you need to change your survey responses, purchase add-on items, or update your shipping information, you can click the link in your survey email again or request your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page. (This page will only start working after we send the surveys out.)

During the survey you will be able to pay for shipping and add on anything else you like.

You will have access to the same items as seen on the pre-order store, but with the discounted shipping for your So, You've Been Eaten copy mentioned on the campaign page.

The survey will stay open for a long time, until a few weeks before the rewards are due to be shipped. More details will follow in future backer updates - stay tuned!

BOARD GAME CO

We neglected to post this in a previous backer update. Sorry Alex!

DICE TOWER

Watch out for one of the best reactions to a game of ours by a Dice Tower contributor. Well to the name of the game, to be exact. Take it away, gang!

Psssst. We have a secret.

There will be something quite special for you to add on to your pledges during the survey.

Don't tell anyone.

We can't talk about it right this minute, for reasons that we will explain when we do talk about the thing we can't talk about. Know what we're talking about? No? OK yeah, you have a point. Watch this space.

Tabletopia

Well, very few of you asked for it, but we did it anyway. Or rather, Tabletopia did.

We are very happy to announce a brand new opportunity for you to NOT play the game.

So, if you felt like playing (or, well, didn't), head over to Tabletopia and watch yourself watch two imaginary players play a game. You know, like a usual Saturday night these days.

And yes, like BGG, Tabletopia seems to not yet have managed to develop 0-player game listing technology. Trust us that link works as intended. Maybe.

Newsletter

OK, here goes. We get most our validation not from KS backer counts, not from sales of games with numerically debatable player counts, and not from memorizing all the Ticket to Ride tickets and their points, but from how many subscribers we have for our newsletter. Be nice, sign up. And recycle.

FAQ

Do you often stay up wondering about different language editions of the game, or Brexit? (what, too soon?)

So do we. But we would not have to, if we had read the FAQ!

Contact us

The quickest way to contact us is to use the KS messaging system. Please do not send multiple messages via our website, FB page, Twitter, the 'gram, or an actual telegram - one message via KS will suffice, and we promise to get back to you as soon as we can:

Thank you!

Once again, we're asking for your supp- oh wait, that's done now. Now, we work. Continue working.

We believe the best way to thank you is to give you what you pledged for. We ourselves pledge to do everything we can for you, and deliver what we promise. We hope to be worthy of your trust and patronage.

Scott says thanks, too. We're not sure he knows we're Kickstarting this. Let him know how you liked all this so far?

Best,

LC

P.S.: Oh hey, you made it all the way down here. Good for you. Hope you like bagpipe solos. Enjoy:

That's not even her final form.
